It is around 45 km from the city centre of Thiruvananthapuran. From the main road of Kallar, this waterfall is about 3 km away. There are several small natural pools located near to the water fall. In order to reach the place, one has to take a long trek that passes through dense forests, upon taking special permission from the Forest Department.
