1. Shenbaganur Museum:

The Flora and Fauna Museum- Shenbaganur Museum has a vast and colourful collection of Orchids with more than 500 species of animals, birds and insects. The museum is affiliated with Loyola College of Chennai and exhibits artifacts of the ancient Palaiyar tribal people whose descendants still live in these hills. It takes about 45 minutes to visit the Museum.

2. Green Valley View,Coakers Walk:

Green Valley View in Kodaikanal has an excellent panoramic view of the plains with a sheer drop of 1,500 meters (4,921 ft) overlooking the Vaigai Dam to the south. You can spend Half an hour enjoying the beauty of nature.

3. Pillar Rock

It is a set of three giant rock pillars which stand 122 meters (400 ft) High. The beauty of the rocks will be enjoyed when the mist come from the bottom of the rocks. You can spend half an hour in this spot.

4. Kurinji Andavar Temple

The Kurinji Andavar Temple is dedicated to Lord Muruga, who is referred as the Lord of the Hills in Tamilnadu.

5. Guna caves

Made popular by the Tamil movie Guna, previously called Devil’s Kitchen, the Guna Caves are deep bat-infested chambers between the three gigantic boulders that are the Pillar Rocks.

6. Bryant Park

Kodaikanal Park is a wonderfully maintained 20.5 acres (8.3 ha) of botanical garden. With 325 species of trees, shrubs and cactuses, the park is a rainbow of stunning flowers during the peak season. Summer festival is held every year in May for ten days. It starts with the flower show. Boat races and fruit shows are specially organized to add to the splendor. Cultural programs are also conducted during the festival.

7. La Salette Church

This is the early establishment of 150 year old, La Salette(here spelled “La Saleth”)  Shrine in the hill country of Kodaikanal. It is the first Catholic Church in Kodaikanal. An extraordinary celebration that attracts worshippers from South India, takes places at la saleth church every year on the 14th and 15th of August.

8. Kodaikanal Lake

Kodaikanal Lake, is an artificial, roughly star-shaped 45 ha (60 acres) lake built in 1863. It is recognized as Kodaikanal's most popular geographic landmark and tourist attraction. Rowboats and pedalos can be hired at the Kodaikanal Boat Club. Horses and bicycles can be hired beside the lake for short periods. The 5 kilometers (3 mi) path that skirts the periphery of this lovely lake is a favourite walk for the locals and tourists alike.

9. Silver Cascade:

The waterfall is Located 8 kms away from Kodaikanal on the Ghat road leading to Madurai. The overflow of Kodaikanal Lake comes down here as 180 feet high falls.
